It’s been way too many years in the making and long overdue, but “The Fastest ¼ Mile in the Northeast” is finally done and ready for action on your PC’s. Project: Short Tracks presents “Monadnock Speedway” for NR2003.
 
Affectionately known to racers and its legion of fans as “Mad Dog”, this great little paved quarter-mile New Hampshire speed plant fills the void in many schedules for sim racers running WMT, MRS and BGNN seasons. We have gone to great lengths to try to get all of the detailing down pat so when you’re behind the wheel, you can virtually “feel” all of the immersion of racing at Monadnock. The track features working pit stalls for 26 total cars (25 opponents), so you will find yourself in the middle of exciting, fast and tight pack racing action pretty much non-stop from flag-to-flag.
Once again it’s important to note that there are a few people to thank who chipped in mightily on this project. Please be sure to read about all of their contributions in the CREDITS README file provided with the track. There are also some very important notes in there about the A.I. and how to get the best results when racing on the track in NR2003.
Northeast sim enthusiasts have been clamoring for Monadnock for years and now your time has finally arrived! Jump behind the wheel of your sim racing rigs and hunker down for some serious short track action. But first… a word to the wise… don’t get too caught up enjoying the scenery and details or the field will be lapping by you before you know it!
A night version of the track is in production and will be released at a later date.
